玻利瓦廣場上有三座最主要的大建築：1823年建成的古典式大教堂、國民大會和Alcaldía de Bogotá。後兩者也是古典式的，尤其Alcaldía de Bogotá還受法國的影響。在附近的蒙瑟瑞特山上有蒙瑟瑞特聖壇。廣場北部的司法部是1985年4月19日運動占領後被摧毀重造的。
