Warren Wolf Jr., born in Baltimore, Maryland, on November 10, 1979, is a highly acclaimed American jazz vibraphonist and multi-instrumentalist. His musical journey began at the young age of three, learning the vibraphone, marimba, drums, and piano under the guidance of his father, Warren Wolf Sr.


Wolf's early musical education was steeped in classical music at the Peabody Institute's preparatory program. He further honed his skills at the Baltimore School for the Arts and later at Berklee College of Music, where he studied with renowned jazz vibraphonist Dave Samuels. During his time in Boston, he actively participated in the local jazz scene, even working as a house drummer at the legendary Wally's Cafe.


A versatile musician, Wolf is not only a master of the vibraphone but also proficient in drums, piano, and percussion. His deep understanding of various instruments enriches his compositions and performances. He has shared the stage and recording studio with jazz luminaries such as Wynton Marsalis, Christian McBride, Jeremy Pelt, and the SFJAZZ Collective, of which he is a member.
